    Passengers

    Airlines may have different policies or prices for adults (12 years plus), children (2-11 years old) and infants (under 2 years), according to the age of the passenger on the return journey.

    Infants may travel on an adult's lap or in a seat (at a child price). However, if an infant returns on or after its 2nd birthday then a child fare must be purchased as a seat will be required.

    Unaccompanied Minors

    Airlines will accept unaccompanied children for travel. Each carrier has differing conditions and ages for unaccompanied minors. However, terms will include the payment of a full adult fare and official documentation from the parent / guardian. If you would like to make a booking please contact our travel centre for further details.

    Children under 2 years old can travel in laps or seats (seats charged at child price).

    Infant Seating

    The minimum age limit for infants on all scheduled flights is two weeks of age on the date of departure. Infants will not be charged Air Passenger Duty or Airport Taxes (unless you are purchasing a seat for your infant). Other taxes may apply.

    Most airlines insist that infants are secured with an infant lap-strap (which loops around the adult's seat belt) during the scheduled flight. However, some airlines do not make lap-straps available. This is most common for American and German carriers. Infants can travel in their own seats, with or without a car seat. Infants and children travelling in their own seat, but not in a car seat, can use the standard adult seat belt or you can supply an appropriate Child Restraint System (CRS).
