Perth Holidays

Hugged by the hills of the Darling Ranges and gazing over the sky-blue Indian Ocean, Perth holidays invite you to a prosperous, modern port city that is placid and picturesque. Holidays to Perth boast a sun-drenched climate making it an outdoor playground, perfect for those wanting to explore the bushland or catch some surf.

The capital of Western Australia, Perth is hip and sun drenched. It’s set on the gorgeously warm Indian Ocean and mixes golden beaches and parks with skyscrapers and colonial architecture. This makes holidays to Perth the perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment, with so much more to do in close proximity to the city centre. Kings Park, one of the biggest inner-city parks in the world, boasts fresh air and fine views from its trails. You’ll see the Swan and Canning Rivers on a gentle wander through the well-kept gardens, all under the watchful eyes of the Darling Ranges.

Fremantle is located 19 kilometres to the southwest of Perth and situated at the mouth of the Swan River on Australia’s west coast. Named after Captain Charles Fremantle who set up camp on the site in the 1800s, the city is renowned for its colonial architecture, including Fremantle Prison and the Old Courthouse. Fremantle Harbour offers insight into the maritime history of Australia’s southwest coast and is also a fine spot in which to enjoy a craft beer or two.

Perth Holiday Highlights

With a total of 19 stunning beaches, you could spend an entire holiday here just chilling on the sand. There are many things to do on a Perth holiday, and one is making the most of the coast. Surfers and sailboarders should head for Scarborough Beach on the Ocean Coast, while a more relaxed vibe awaits at the trendy beachfront eateries of Cottesloe Beach. Board a ferry to take a selfie with the smiley local quokkas on Rottnest Island, before exploring the stunning beaches, bays and reefs the island has to offer.

We all know wine doesn’t get much better than Australian, and northeast of Perth boast 40 vineyards. Perhaps the best known wine region in this area though is Margaret River, South of Perth, producing over 15 percent of Australia's premium wine. Divide your time between numerous award-winning restaurants and wineries before imbibing even more of your senses with stunning beaches and surfing opportunities, tall-timber forests rising spectacularly out of the earth and impressive, ancient caves.
