Dolphin Swim Akaroa

If you have always dreamed of swimming with dolphins then this is an opportunity not to be missed! Travel to Akaroa with a short stop at a cheese factory where you'll sample a fine selection of New Zealand's finest cheeses. On arrival in Akaroa, join Black Cat 2 for a cruise on the harbour, spotting dolphins, penguins and seals en route. On catching sight of the dolphins, you will join them in their natural habitat and swim with the rare and endangered Hector's dolphins in the open sea. Following your swim, take time to browse the village and have lunch (own expense) before returning to Christchurch.

Whale Watch Kaikoura

Travel to Kaikoura to one of New Zealand’s leading eco-tourism destinations, renowned for its variety of marine mammals. Spot sperm and humpback whales, dolphins and seals (weather permitting) which are all attracted by the rich feeding grounds. After lunch there’s time to visit a fur seal colony on the rocky shores just outside of Kaikoura, before travelling back to Christchurch with a stop for wine tasting at one of the exclusive local vineyards.

Embark on one of the top ten train journeys in the world. Board the TranzAlpine to travel through the Southern Alps to Arthur’s Pass. Continue your tour by road in to the snow-capped mountains. Following lunch there is time to explore the picturesque village of Arthur’s Pass Arrive at the Waimakariri River to board a jet boat, as you continue your journey by river down stream 15km to Woodstock Sheep Station for afternoon tea in a secluded riverside lodge. For the final leg of the journey, you board a coach as you travel back across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch City.
