Picnic on the Peak

Take a helicopter ride to a secluded and remote area for a leisurely champange lunch at a secret high mountain location. The pilot will leave you in peace with your gourmet picnic to enjoy magnificent views across the mountainous landscape. When you're ready for a pick up, radio back to base to be collceted for your exhilarating journey back to civilisation.

Rob Roy Glacier Walk

After a scenic drive over the spectacular Crown Range (or alternatively a pick up from your Wanaka hotel), begin the full day walk into the Matukituki Valley west of Lake Wanaka in the Mount Aspiring National Park. Walk up through beech forest to view the magnificent backdrop walk up the beautiful river valley, surrounded by snow capped mountains. View the Rob Roy glacier, along with a wide variety of ancient forest, bird life, waterfalls and river gorges.

Duration is 9 hours in total, with 5 hours walking – track is 10km in total on well used but uneven walking track. Reasonable fitness required. Routeburn Track Day Walk

This full-day walk in the ancient beech forest of Mount Aspiring National Park begins with a scenic drive into the Routeburn Valley at the northern end of Lake Wakatipu. Climb gradually through blankets of forest moss and fern, before reaching the Routeburn Flats, overlooked on all sides by snow-capped mountains. With a variety of wildlife to spot along the way, as well as stunning waterfalls and river gorges, it’s easy to see why the Routeburn Track has become one of the most famous walks in the world.

Milford Track Day Walk

If there is time for just one day walk during your stay in New Zealand, this is it! Transfer from Queenstown to a scenic catamaran cruise across Lake Te Anau for the start point of the famous Milford Track. An experienced nature guide will meet and join you on a five to six hour leisurely walk of the initial section of the Milford Track. There will be a maximum of twelve walkers per guide; and the walk is classified as easy throughout the 11km return trip. Your guide will talk about the natural and human heritage of this area. A picnic lunch will be served at Glade House. Return back to Queenstown by catamaran and coach.

Doubtful Sound Wilderness Cruise

Enjoy a relaxing drive along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and the rolling countryside to Pearl Harbour, Manapouri. Cruise across picturesque Lake Manapouri to West Arm, and then travel by coach over the Wilmot Pass to Doubtful Sound, where you’ll join the brand new catamaran ‘Patea Explorer’ for a 3-hour cruise. View awe-inspiring waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife such as Bottlenose dolphins, fur seals and at times, rare penguins.
