Dolphin Swim Akaroa

If you have always dreamed of swimming with dolphins then this is an opportunity not to be missed! Travel to Akaroa with a short stop at a cheese factory where you'll sample a fine selection of New Zealand's finest cheeses. On arrival in Akaroa, join Black Cat 2 for a cruise on the harbour, spotting dolphins, penguins and seals en route. On catching sight of the dolphins, you will join them in their natural habitat and swim with the rare and endangered Hector's dolphins in the open sea. Following your swim, take time to browse the village and have lunch (own expense) before returning to Christchurch.

Zealandia - Twilight Kiwi Spotting

As dusk falls, Zealandia (formerly known as the Karori Wildlife Sanctuary) comes alive with birdsong. Join your guide as you endeavour to seek out the elusive New Zealand mascot, the kiwi. With over one hundred calling the sanctuary home, there is a high 'spotting' chance as they rummage through the leaf litter. In addition, view glowworms that will light up your path as you explore two reservoirs and historical buildings.
