Vista Cruise with BBQ

Board the Vista - a state of the art catamaran, to explore Abel Tasman in comfort. Hugging the shore, travel to idyllic bays and through the Tonga Island Marine Reserve, to view a New Zealand fur seal colony. Pass the sweeping golden beaches and bush headlands before arriving at the picturesque Tonga Quarry beach for a classic BBQ lunch. Enjoy a bush walk, visit the famous Tonga Arch granite formations, or relax on the beach before sailing back to Kaiteriteri.

Whether you're looking for a scenic cruise, kayaking through the calm waters, or hiking the famous coastal track, there's something for everyone. Join Wilson's for this full-day tour which will guide you to all the highlights of this spectacular region.

Meet your guide for a scenic boat trip to Torrent Bay where you will receive a full training session and safety briefing in your double kayak. Begin with a paddle to Split Apple Rock, followed by lunch on a golden sandy beach. After, cruise to Onetahuti, passing the seal colony on Tonga Island. You will then disembark and enjoy a two-hour coastal walk, spotting penguins and other sea birds along the way. Following this, return to Kaiteriteri and your onward accommodation.

Flying Fox - Fox Glacier Helihike

Combine the thrill of a heli ride over Fox Glacier, you'll then circle the upper icefall and land on a remote untouched part of the glacier. Get kitted out with crampons as your route will take you onto the ice. Your experienced guide will lead you past crevasses and ice ridges and into the middle of the glacier for incredible views of this glacier wonderland, before boarding your helicopter to return to base.

Franz Josef Heli Hike and Glacier Hot Pools
